Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Therapy plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional rehabilitation services at Rivetus Rehabilitation. Reporting directly to the Director of Therapy, this leader assumes responsibility for providing guidance and oversight to the interdisciplinary team.

Location: Our facility is conveniently located at 3030 Greenfield Road, Royal Oak, MI 48073.

Schedule: This full-time position requires working Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Discharge Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop effective discharge plans that meet Medicare guidelines.
  2. Clinical Documentation: Review clinical documentation, including MDS Assessments, to ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and insurance requirements.
  3. Leadership and Problem-Solving: Provide guidance and resolve issues related to rehabilitation services.
  4. Direct Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care in your area of professional expertise, adhering to clinical and State of Michigan regulatory requirements.
  5. Department Supervision: Supervise the rehabilitation department in the absence of the Director of Therapy.
  6. Communication Skills: Develop reports, correspondence, and analysis utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Leadership and Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with rehabilitation staff and other disciplines, leveraging excellent leadership and customer relations skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
