Relief Operator

To provide operational support and relief to the Back End team, including LSM Operator and Back End Maintainer, in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Assist in setting up, maintaining, and operating flangers, beaders, light testers, spray machines, IBOs, and palletizers to ensure seamless production.
• Collaborate with operators to conduct quality checks on cans, guaranteeing compliance with established standards.
• In the absence of other Back End Operators & Maintainers, operate Palletizer, LSMs, and Back End equipment while ensuring efficient plant operations.
• Perform quality checks in the LSM area while the LSM Operator conducts daily cleaning of LSM machines, promoting a culture of excellence.
• Conduct visual inspections of cans to identify potential issues and take corrective measures to maintain process integrity.
• Complete necessary paperwork, documentation, such as process check sheets, logbooks, and maintenance check sheets, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Support other areas as needed to maintain a smooth flow of cans through the plant, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and adhere to safety procedures and best practices.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned by management.

• Possess strong mechanical skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues.
• Able to read, understand, and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Basic data entry and computer skills to efficiently manage records and reports.
• Ability to safely operate production forklifts and maintain certification, prioritizing workplace safety.
• Familiarity with applicable safety regulations to minimize risks and ensure a secure working environment.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum
