Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Job Description

The Certified Medical Assistant will work interdependently with other medical professionals to provide quality healthcare to a high volume of patients. Key responsibilities include assisting providers during office visits and procedures, performing accurate vital sign measurements, recording medications and lab results, administering medications under supervision, ordering and maintaining exam rooms, notifying patients of lab results, making referrals, and practicing infection control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a graduate degree from an accredited Medical Assistant program and current certification through AAMA, NHA, RMA, or similar organization. Prior healthcare experience is required, as well as proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR/HER) software. You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to actively listen, observe, and draft narrative accounts accurately and cogently.
