About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fire sprinkler systems that meet the highest safety standards.



Key Responsibilities


  • Perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems with accuracy
  • Draw systems in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible
  • Learn and run hydraulic calculations
  • Learn and run then check stock listing for fabrication of new fire sprinkler systems
  • Request plans and information from contractors and architects
  • Build product data submittals


Requirements


  • 1 to 2 years design experience using AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Must be comfortable asking questions
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints
  • Prior experience using HydraCalc is a plus
