Job Summary

The STEAM Lab Educator will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive learning experiences to students in a STEAM lab setting. This role requires a passion for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math, as well as the ability to create and lead hands-on activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement STEAM-based lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
* Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to integrate STEAM activities into the classroom curriculum
* Maintain a well-organized and equipped STEAM lab, including ordering supplies and materials as needed
* Document student progress and assess the effectiveness of STEAM-based instruction

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Education, STEAM, or a related field
* Experience working with children in a educational setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. The STEAM Lab Educator will be required to lift up to 30 pounds and to stand for extended periods of time. A successful background check is required for this position.
