Are you a skilled Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge in the Cardiovascular field? We have an exciting opportunity for a Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse to join our team at TotalMed, a leading travel nursing agency.

About the Role

As a Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. You will assist physicians during procedures, monitor patients' vital signs, and maintain a sterile field to ensure safe and effective patient care. Your expertise and adaptability skills will be invaluable in this fast-paced environment.

Job Details

$2,606.60 per week (approximately $135,478.40 per year)
92 days
Brighton, Colorado (with opportunities to work in various locations throughout the United States)
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 5 days/week (rotating shifts may be required)

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Assist physicians during procedures by administering medications and monitoring vital signs
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Monitor patients' post-procedure recovery and assess for complications
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements

Current RN license
BLS certification
2 years of recent experience in a Catheterization Laboratory setting
Strong communication and adaptability skills
