Workforce Development Regulatory and Compliance Manager

This is a unique opportunity to join QuickStart Technologies Inc. as a Regulatory Compliance Expert for Workforce Development, responsible for managing regulatory and compliance approvals and reporting for all the regulatory and compliance approvals.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of regulatory compliance, from market research and strategy development to filing and approvals management, record keeping and documentation, drafting and reviewing contracts, and governance (legal). This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and execute strategically.

Responsibilities
  1. Market Research & Strategy
  • Conduct market research and develop strategies to secure approvals and reciprocity across multiple states.
  • Understand regulatory rules and policies and identify opportunities to adapt workforce programming to fit the needs of local employers, jobseekers, and students.
Filing and Approvals Management
  • File and maintain corporate legal entities that meet revenue, liquidity, and student completion rates for school approval and compliance.
  • Research relevant state workforce boards and list company courses on their ETPL.
  • Read and analyze legal documents and regulatory briefings to file for course approvals.
Record Keeping & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of approvals and documentation.
  • Ensure student completion data is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Drafting and Reviewing Contracts
  • Develop and review independent contractor agreements, sales and services contracts, vendor contracts, and partnerships.
Governance (Legal)
  • Oversee corporate formations, state registrations, and G&L insurance requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workforce development, preferably with direct support functions and knowledge of working with TWC and ETPLs across multiple states.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and execute strategically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in project management, paralegal, or regulatory affairs is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
