A leading health services network in Texas is seeking a licensed Family Medicine Physician to join their team at one of their facilities in Fort Bend County.

In this role, the Family Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical services for members of families, regardless of age or sex, or type of problem, on a continuing basis.


Key Responsibilities:

The Family Medicine Physician will:
Examine patients to ascertain the presence of disease and to establish preventive health practices
Elicit and record information about patients' medical history
Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patients' conditions
Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnose conditions of patients
Administer or prescribe treatments and medications
Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of diseases
Determine the need for modified diet and physical activities, and recommend plans
Inoculate and vaccinate patients to immunize them from communicable diseases
Perform surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency
Refer patients to other medical specialists for consultant services when necessary for patients' well-being
Oversee, review, supervise, and act in a preceptor role to family practice residents
Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas
Board Eligible/Certified in Family Medicine

Preferred Skills:
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
