Description
Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. We are currently seeking a seasoned Billing Specialist to work from our Eagan, MN office. This position is responsible for preparing complete and accurate billing to Private Insurance carriers and resolving open balances in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review and process daily insurance claims for electronic submission.
Review denials, correct claims and resubmit.
Work with Insurance carriers to resolve billing issues.
Process insurance changes and updates.
Maintain understanding of insurance contracts/payers we handle and keep abreast of any changes with these contracts.

Qualifications
Well versed in Medical insurance/terminology/billing.
Experience with HME is a plus.
Great communication skills: written and verbal, contacting referrals, facilities, patients, etc.
Work individually and as a team to meet individual and departmental goals.
Participate in individual feedback sessions, staff meetings and annual training and/or competency tests.
