Strategic Supplemental Health Solutions Leader

The Cigna Group seeks a seasoned Regional Sales Director to drive growth in its Supplemental Health business. As a key member of the team, you will partner with field sales and account management teams to develop and execute strategies that increase product distribution within designated geographies.

About the Role:

This role requires a deep understanding of the Supplemental Health market, including Accidental Injury (AI), Critical Illness (CI), and Hospital Indemnity (HI) products. You will be responsible for building relationships with brokers, consultants, and other external stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, matrixed environment. A proven track record of delivering business results and leading cross-functional teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute geographic-level distribution strategies to drive product growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consultants, and other external stakeholders to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience desired.
  • Industry experience required.
  • History of consistently delivering business results.
  • Able to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment.
  • Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines.
  • Able to foster collaboration, value others' perspectives, and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, executive presence.
  • Proven ability to lead in a heavily matrixed environment.
Salary Information:

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
