Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Specialist to join our team at The Christ Hospital. This individual will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our OBGYN department, ensuring seamless patient care and exceptional clinical outcomes.

About the Role

The Clinical Operations Specialist will assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of physicians. As a clinical lead, this individual will be responsible for maintaining patient flow during clinic hours, documenting review of systems, and updating past and current medical, social, and family history.

This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent computer skills, and exceptional verbal and social skills to facilitate working respectfully with patients, physicians, visitors, coworkers, and drug reps. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant or other relevant experience with progressive increase of responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain patient flow during clinic hours
  • Document review of systems; measures vital signs such as pulse rate, respirations, blood pressure, weight, and height
  • Update past and current medical, social, and family history
  • Record patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Requirements
  • Certified/Registered MA required
  • BLS certification required
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, EMR, and scheduling systems) required
  • Strong verbal and social skills required
