Nurse Manager for Patient Care and Operational Excellence

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee patient care and operational excellence at North Oaks Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining efficient operations.
About the RoleThis is a leadership position that requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing nursing staff and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care Oversight: Validate staffing needs based on patient care requirements and unit staffing plans, ensuring adequate resources to meet patient needs.
- Clinical Expertise: Assess patient acuity and delegate care to registered nurses as needed, ensuring timely interventions and effective patient management.
- Staff Management: Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance job satisfaction and improve patient outcomes.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor and maintain efficient patient flow, coordinating with administrative teams to optimize bed utilization and reduce wait times.
- Communication: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive work environment.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current RN license in Louisiana
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
