Job Summary
This position provides physical therapy care to patients under the guidance of Rehab Management. The Relief Physical Therapist is responsible for all clinical aspects, including evaluation, treatment planning, and progression. Treatments include the use of physical, chemical, and other properties of heat, light, water, electricity, sound, and massage, as well as gait and transfer training, and active, passive, and resistive exercises.
Essential Functions
The Relief Physical Therapist performs patient care tasks with medically complicated patient populations. They determine rehab prognosis and implement the clinically indicated therapy plan of care. They also evaluate, recommend, and train on the use of durable medical equipment, and communicate discharge plans to patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications, is qualifying. The Relief Physical Therapist must have a current American Heart Association (AHA) Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers and Physical Therapy licensure in the state of California.
