Medline Industries, LP is a leading medical supply company seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide guidance and support on human resources operational issues, ensuring the organization's current HR requirements are met and the HR strategy is implemented effectively.
Job Description- We are looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills to develop positive employee relations initiatives, coach employees and managers on HR policies and procedures, and assist management in maintaining positive employee relations.
- You will assess the internal employee climate, counsel with managers to identify and implement actions that improve or maintain a positive employee relations environment, and partner with HR management when conducting local level investigations and resolving team member issues.
- Liaison between Talent Acquisition and management in the recruitment and selection of candidates, work with local managers to determine training needs, and compile data and analyze past and current year training requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., HR, Business Administration).
- At least 2 years of HR Generalist experience demonstrating knowledge of HR practices, legal rules and regulations.
- Experience applying knowledge of state employment laws to assess compliance issues, establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, and using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- PHR or SPHR certification.
- Fluency in Spanish (read, write, speak). Note: These qualifications are not required, but they are highly preferred by Medline.
