About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a travel professional. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who desire flexible scheduling and the chance to work in various practice settings.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing therapeutic procedures, including advanced practice procedures such as operating balloon pumps, working in NICU, and performing Pulmonary Function testing (PFT). They will also participate in orientation of staff and student training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional leadership in patient care delivery.
  • Use AIDET principles when interfacing with patients.
  • Manage conflicts effectively and maintain good rapport with colleagues.
  • Maintain safe respiratory therapy practices and alert management to any safety concerns.

This role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of respiratory care practices, and the ability to work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital setting and be proficient in EPIC systems.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist with a license in the state(s) you will work.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in respiratory care.
  • Ability to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations.
