Tyto Athene, LLC is seeking an experienced Avaya Aura CM Systems Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and system restoration of Avaya Aura CM systems.
  • Ensure the day-to-day operation of Avaya Aura CM systems, including moves, adds, and changes.
  • Install and repair station cables, and maintain, repair, configure, and operate telephone switches and related equipment.
  • Install cables and wiring between the TELCO demarcation point and FMP-owned and BPMI-owned telecommunications equipment.
  • Perform housekeeping of telecommunications office areas, equipment rooms, and storage areas.
  • Record keeping and investigation and resolution of equipment alarms and trouble calls.
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of telecommunications equipment, including station equipment.
  • Creation, maintenance, and deletion of voice mail accounts.
  • Assess user needs, translate those needs to identify the nature of the trouble, and apply skills to rectify the error condition on the system.
  • Provide insight into contractual deliverables such as method or procedures (MOP), test and acceptance plans (TAP), and after-action reports (AAR).
  • Provide input on internal processes to assist with service improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in advanced troubleshooting and system maintenance of Avaya Aura CM systems.
  • Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of routers and switches is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of telephony, UC, VoIP, and SIP, and the ability to support as necessary.
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Ability to work flexible/extended hours, including on-call rotation.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds if required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • The ability to pass a background check and obtain a Department of Defense secret/Q clearance is required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with the US Federal Government.
  • Current Avaya CM certification(s).
  • Experience with current DoD Information Assurance policies, procedures, and techniques.

Clearance: Top Secret Clearance Required
