We are seeking a highly skilled Bartender to join our team at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Marco Island, Florida. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of related work experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position that requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
  2. Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
  3. Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
  4. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
  5. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  6. Transport supplies to bar set-up area.
  7. Wash soiled glassware.
  8. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.
  9. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
  10. Process all payment methods.
  11. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
  12. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
  13. Complete closing duties.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
