Job Summary:

The Rehabilitation Technician will assist with direct technical patient care procedures throughout the entire span of life as directed by Occupational, Physical Therapy and Speech Language Pathology professional staff to ensure efficient operations. This role will set up, monitor, and remove patients on modalities and equipment, perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, activities of daily living, positioning, and vital signs. The Rehabilitation Technician will also assist with PMR physician clinics by rooming patients, assessing vitals, weight, and completing documentation in EPIC. Additionally, this role will assist in ambulating patients with assistive devices such as crutches and with transfer/transport procedures. The Rehabilitation Technician will adhere to infection control procedures by utilizing sterile technique, precautions, and cleaning and maintenance procedures. This role will also assist with fabrication of various splints and ensure supplies are available by inventorying, stocking, and ordering materials.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
• Less than one year of previous job-related experience
• Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
• CPR - Basic Life Support certification
