We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric ICU Nurse to join our team at TotalMed in Dallas, Texas. Total Compensation Package: The estimated total compensation package for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, which includes a salary of approximately $80,000-$130,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

About the Job:

In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced pediatric intensive care unit environment. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care for critically ill patients. Your expertise and passion for pediatric nursing will make a significant difference in the lives of your young patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient conditions and adjust plans accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • RN licensure in good standing
  • Experience working in a pediatric ICU environment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
