Job Summary

Ambitious and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) needed for a challenging role at River Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As part of our skilled team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to residents under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities:
  • Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, oversee the delivery of direct resident care as prescribed by physicians, adhering to nursing standards and regulations.
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff in ensuring the highest level of care for residents.
Requirements:
  1. Holding a current LVN license and being in good standing with the State.
  2. Ability to foster positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues while working collaboratively towards common goals.
  3. Capacity to maintain regular attendance and effectively manage time.
  4. Effective communication skills to supervise and work cooperatively with other employees towards achieving resident care objectives.
  5. Meet all local health regulations and pass a post-offer health assessment.
  6. Demonstrate physical and sensory abilities required for walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, and pulling, as well as the ability to hear and respond to pages; distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures; read and write; communicate verbally and in writing with residents, families, personnel, vendors, and consultants; and remain calm under stress.
  7. BLS certification.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and location.
