Manufacturing Specialist

As a Manufacturing Specialist at Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Assemble products and components following precise specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to identify defects and ensure they meet company standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Adhere to production schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and safety regulations.
- Package and label products for shipment, ensuring all materials are properly handled and documented.
- Collaborate with team members and shift supervisors to address any production issues and improve processes.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in manufacturing is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive actions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work 3rd shift hours and occasional overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the entire shift.
- Comfort working in a variety of conditions, including varying temperatures.
