Job Summary

Buckner International is seeking a skilled Spiritual Care Professional to join our team at Calder Woods in Beaumont, TX. As a Chaplain, you will play a vital role in delivering spiritual care and support to our residents, families, caregivers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Address Spiritual Needs: Evaluate the spiritual needs of our residents and develop personalized plans to meet those needs.
  • Provide Grief and Crisis Counseling: Offer emotional support and guidance to individuals and families experiencing loss or crisis.
  • Develop and Implement Chaplaincy Programs: Create and implement programs to promote spiritual growth and well-being among our residents and staff.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with our healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and support for our residents.
  • Maintain Confidentiality and Professional Boundaries: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with residents, families, and staff.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in theology, divinity, psychology, counseling, or a related field. Master's degree in biblical/theological studies preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in chaplaincy or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and empathetic approach to spiritual care.
