About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing personalized support and care. Your role will involve assisting individuals with their daily needs, such as personal hygiene and meal preparation, while also promoting their independence and autonomy.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for individuals
  • Provide transportation to appointments and activities
  • Support individuals in developing life skills, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, compassionate, and reliable demeanor
  • A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
