Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food based on company specifications, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare line to be welcoming and meet customer needs with timely and friendly service
  • Properly prepares and presents all food based on company specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness from open to close. Mise en place
  • Properly handle and maintain all equipment
  • Consistently perform tasks with a pleasant disposition while in the presence of staff and patrons
  • Ensure food is handled safely based on SERVE SAFE standards
  • Respond to making and completing orders, answering questions about the menu and ingredients, handle staff or customer concerns in a polite and efficient manner
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years kitchen experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Retail, hospitality and/or customer service experience preferred (Attitude trumps experience)
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Flexible availability a must (weekends and evenings required)
