We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant. This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and adolescents with special needs.

Job Description:

  • The SLPA will support our Speech/Language Pathologists in treating patients with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Assess speech and language abilities and progress toward therapy goals
  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises designed to improve speech and communication skills
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • This is a 10-month (school year) position, following Massachusetts schools' vacations and holidays

Requirements:

  • We seek positive, energetic, and flexible applicants who can complement Lighthouse's remarkable culture and strong Allied Services team
  • Patience, strong communication skills, and a good sense of humor are highly recommended for success in this role
  • Associates degree from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program
  • Current and valid state licensure/certification in Massachusetts is required
