Nurturing Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a fun-loving, reliable Lead Teacher to join our team at Little Feet Helpful Hands Childcare and Preschool. Our ideal candidate is an experienced individual who can work with all ages served at the center - 6 weeks to 6 years old.

We believe in learning through play and providing children with fun experiences and lifelong friendships. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in our young learners.

• Create and implement weekly lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for the children in your care
• Develop and maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment that fosters curiosity and exploration
• Communicate effectively with parents via our app, including entering meals, diapers, and naps
• Maintain professional and caring relationships with children and parents, using positive language and tone
• Assist children with their daily needs, such as changing diapers and assisting with toileting, serving meals, and getting them down for a nap
• Model proper behavior and redirect improper behavior by providing a better option
• Supervise children and interact with them through play, reading, dancing, and other activities

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required; lead teacher certification preferred
