Job Summary

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist PRN to join our team. As a Speech Therapist PRN, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation. You will also participate in team meetings, train others as needed, and engage in continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices in speech therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Perform screenings to detect voice, fluency, or speech disorders
  • Educate patients and family members about speech/swallow disorders and causes
  • Keep detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
  • Report progress and current status to appropriate parties
  • Select appropriate technology and material for patients

  • Rehab Therapist Patient Documentation (Novice)
  • Speech Pathology Patient Evaluation (Novice)
  • Speech Pathology Patient & Family Education (Novice)
  • Speech Pathology Treatment Implementation (Novice)
  • Discharge Planning (Novice)
