Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Integration and Test Engineer to join our team at General Atomics and Affiliated Companies. As a key member of our Electromagnetic Systems group, you will be responsible for the integration and testing of spacecraft systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical integration procedures for flight vehicle assembly and Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
  • Formulate test plans for component level, subsystem level, and system level testing
  • Evaluate the integration of engineering solutions within the overall engineering environment
  • Communicate with engineering professionals, solution users, and management throughout the solution development cycle
  • Represent the company as a prime technical contact on contracts and/or projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
  • Progressive engineering experience, with a minimum of 12 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 10 years with a Master's degree, or 7 years with a PhD
  • Strong technical expertise and application of engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practice
  • Ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with spacecraft integration and test
  • Spacecraft operations experience
  • Proficiency in C programming language
  • Experience working within the Linux environment
