Job Summary:

KSI is seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Davenport, Iowa. As a key member of our CNC machine shop, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding parts in a production and R&D environment.

About the Role:

The Fabrication Specialist will work with formal drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions to create high-quality products while ensuring safety and efficiency in the workplace. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints and welding symbols, inspecting products, maintaining equipment, and meeting production efficiency levels.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in fabrication and welding different materials (Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum) with MIG and TIG welding skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and set up equipment
  • Physical ability to stand, push, pull, reach, and bend to perform job duties
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Education

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work primarily in a welding environment on the shop floor, exposed to high levels of noise, heat, and light, and physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.

Salary Range:

$19-$29/hour or DOE based on experience.
