We are seeking a skilled Fleet Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team at Genuine Parts Company. Based in Fort Myers, this role offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.

Job Description

As a Fleet Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory, assets, and operational issues within our customer locations. This includes ensuring proper processes and procedures are utilized to minimize inventory shrinkage, providing exceptional customer service, and fulfilling work order requests from customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage inventory protection, asset management, and operational issues.
    • Ensure proper processes and procedures are utilized to minimize inventory shrinkage.
    • Provide an outstanding level of customer service with our partners and customers.
    • Fulfill all work order requests from customers using approved vendors.
    • Review daily reporting to ensure fill rate requirements are met.
    • Ensure the site is using approved non-company line codes appropriately.
    • Bar code inventory and place it in appropriate bin locations.
    • Maintain overall cleanliness of the site, stock room, and outside areas.
    • Inform management of customer sales/service concerns and address them promptly.
    • Work with the local management team to ensure reconciliation items are handled per policy and procedure guide.
    • Understand, interpret, and comply with company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Parts knowledge: In any of the following industries: Automotive, Heavy Duty, Transit, Fire, EMS, Police, Refuse, Agricultural, GSE, Marine, Industrial.
  • ASE Certification(s): P1 and/or P2 preferred.
  • Personal drive: Strong ability to source hard-to-find items.
  • Language skills: Bilingual, Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Background check: Federal background check is required.

Work Environment:

This role offers a standard Monday-Friday schedule, with some flexibility during emergency situations such as natural disasters. You will work in a fleet shop environment, which may or may not have air conditioning. You must be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and able to lift and move parts and boxes up to 60 pounds.
