Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to join our Health Services team at Chemours. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will provide nursing treatment of work-related injury and illness, assist in case management for prolonged or complex illnesses/injuries, and maintain medical records in accordance with established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site medical surveillance and drug screening programs
Implement wellness and prevention programs in conjunction with Occupational Health, Safety, and Human Resources
Maintain plant-specific current knowledge of local hazards, toxic materials, and relevant emergency medical care
Acute care management: Provide first aid and determine if additional medical treatment is needed
Experience & ability to manage emergency care situations for injuries/illness/incidents: syncope, HTM exposure, chest pain

Requirements

Current NIOSH Spirometry certification
CAOHC certification
RN with an unrestricted current license from the state Board of Nursing
3-5 years' experience in occupational health
Knowledge of fields relevant to occupational health nursing, including substance abuse, Workers' Compensation, OSHA, toxicology, epidemiology, and disability case management.

Preferred Qualifications

Licensed Advance Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
RN with Compact Nursing License (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
Certified Occupational Health Nurse
Knowledge of Cority, ODG Guidelines, Workday, and Kronos
