Patent Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Analyst to join our team at Clarivate Analytics US LLC. As a Patent Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive searches and providing written opinions on patentability.

• Perform searches using commercial patent databases and proprietary databases of technical publications
• Prepare written opinions applying relevant prior art to disclosures
• Maintain proficiency with search procedures and best practices
• Ensure compliance with Clarivate's Code of Business Ethics and Corporate Conduct

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or related field
• 1+ year of experience working with patents or in the intellectual property field
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Strong time management skills and ability to complete projects against deadlines

• Previous patent examining/patent searching experience
• Highly skilled developing a search methodology and conducting searches
• Experience with Orbit, PatBase, Google Scholar, or PatSeer

This is a remote position, and all work must be completed in the United States. You will be required to have a secure work location and reliable, high-speed internet connection.
