Job Summary:

Clear Channel Communications, Inc. seeks a highly skilled Sales Professional to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

We are committed to providing innovative advertising solutions that enhance our communities. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating advertising revenue and meeting sales targets through the creation and renewal of sales contracts.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships, persuasively communicating strategies for meeting customer needs.
  • Regularly conduct outside sales activities, including obtaining orders and/or contracts for Clear Channel services, while away from the company's place of business.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the customer's account in cooperation with creative, operations, marketing, and finance staff.
  • Determine project pricing based on guidelines from management.
  • Negotiate deals with clients with management approval.
  • Oversee projects from start to finish and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Deliver proof of performance (POP) to clients.
  • Accompany clients on market tours to showcase outdoor inventory.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Ad Operations and other internal departments.
  • Complete other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of sales experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of business-to-business and progressive sales experience.
  • Media sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of territory preferred.

Skills:

  • Skilled in working closely with customers to develop and cultivate client relationships in order to grow accounts.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets with experience in consultative or 'needs' based selling techniques.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), CRM (Salesforce), and social media platforms.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $62,500 - $67,500 per year, plus commissions.
