Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Control/Performance Improvement RN/LPN Manager to join our team at Saint John Hospital, Inc. This is a full-time day shift position that requires a strong background in infection control and performance improvement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the hospital's surveillance, prevention, and control of infection management. They will also develop, manage, and integrate a comprehensive Performance Improvement (PI) Program to achieve positive results in quality, efficiency, safety, and satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local regulatory standards and OSHA regulations, as well as experience in reviewing charts for quality care issues. They will also possess good communication skills, both verbally and written, and experience with Medical Staff communication.

Responsibilities will include coordinating all hospital infection control activities and interventions with the Pharmacy, Therapeutics, Nutrition, and Infection Control (PTNIC) Committee, Medical Staff, and hospital employees. The successful candidate will also respond to potential exposures by communicating with patients, physicians, employees, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in nursing or a related field, a current and valid state RN or LPN license, and a current BLS certificate. The ideal candidate will also have experience in acute care, quality improvement, and team facilitation, as well as expertise in microbiology, antibiotic usage, and clinical practices.
