Job Summary

This exciting opportunity as an Advanced Technology Systems Deployment Specialist will see you working closely with internal and external customers to install, commission, and support ConGlobal's cutting-edge technology systems. As part of our team, you'll be instrumental in delivering successful project outcomes.

About the Role

This challenging yet rewarding position requires a highly motivated individual with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless project implementation.
  • Utilizing hand tools and power tools as necessary.
  • Installing conduit according to project plans or senior field technician directives.
  • Setting up control cabinets, control boxes, mounting brackets, and other hardware as per project requirements or senior field technician guidance.
  • Deploying various devices such as cameras, gate arms, traffic lights, sensors, servers, and related equipment.
  • Pulling, routing, or labeling CAT5, CAT6 cable and other wiring.
  • Repairing poles and towers to resolve cable issues.
  • Conducting thorough inspections to guarantee system functionality.
  • Booking travel and recording time using computer systems.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • A High School Diploma.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Expertise in terminating CAT5, CAT6 cables, and COAX cable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn various business computer systems.
  • Understanding and adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends.
  • A valid US Driver's License.
  • Authorization to work in the USA without Visa sponsorship.
  • Experience pulling, routing, or labeling CAT5 or CAT6 cable.
Nice to Have

Candidates with the following skills will have a competitive edge:

  • Previous experience installing, deploying, and repairing equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic cabling.
  • Background in IT networking.
  • Experience and/or understanding of technology systems and componentry.
  • Knowledgeable of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience and certification for operating equipment such as scissor lifts, forklifts, and boom lifts.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per annum, based on national averages and industry standards. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Travel Requirements

This role involves frequent travel, with an estimated 75% of time spent away from home. A valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours are essential.
