Job Title: Per Diem Medical Assistant

Catalyst Health Group is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to work on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
  • Document patient information and medical history
  • Assist with laboratory tests and procedures
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-6 years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • MA certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
