This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and support our Vascular Surgery fellowship and residency programs, shaping the future of surgical education and patient care.

Job Highlights:
  • Join a collegial team of 17 vascular surgeons at a Level 1 trauma hospital with 2 Hybrid ORs
  • The successful candidate must be trained in all aspects of open and endovascular procedures, including arterial and venous disorders. They will have extensive knowledge of arterial disease, including the aorta, mesentery, carotid, renal, and peripheral. Preferably, they should have some experience in venous disease, thoracic outlet syndrome, and spine exposure.
  • The division has an accredited vascular fellowship and an integrated vascular residency that requires participation in the training and development of fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • In addition to direct patient care, the successful candidate will participate in quality initiatives, attend regional and national conferences, conduct, and develop clinical, translational, and/or basic science research.

Estimated Salary: $400,000 - $600,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements:
  • M.D. or D.O, licensed to practice in Virginia and board certified in Vascular Surgery
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, excellent clinical and technical skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
