Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team at the Sullivan Breast Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating all breast imaging equipment and performing screening and diagnostic mammography exams according to physician's orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate breast imaging equipment to perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
  • Assist with needle localizations, stereotactic breast biopsies, and ultrasound biopsies
  • Ensure compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and referring physicians

Requirements:

  • Advanced mammography registration RT(R)(M)
  • Proficient in interventional procedures (stereotactic biopsy, sonographic biopsy, and needle localization)
