We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team at MTSS. As a key member of our patient care services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in our laboratory testing processes.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position responsible for collecting medical specimens from patients in a variety of settings. You will be working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that all procedures are performed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Collections of blood samples from patients using phlebotomy techniques
  • Preparation of specimens for laboratory testing, including labeling and packaging
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of specimen collection and processing
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Fostering a positive and professional environment for patients and staff alike
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred
  • At least 12 months of experience in a related field, with phlebotomy skills a must
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures
