Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Perioperative Nurse to join our team at Lakeland Hospital Niles. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will work closely with our surgical team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities

* Provide direct patient care in a perioperative setting
* Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement patient care plans
* Conduct preoperative and postoperative assessments to identify potential risks and complications
* Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
* Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements

* Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
* Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
* At least one year of experience in a perioperative setting
