About the Opportunity:

As an HVAC/R Service Specialist with 7-Eleven, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our stores' equipment and systems. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Summary:

The HVAC/R Service Specialist is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of various store equipment, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical systems. You will work independently to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and maintain accurate records of your activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems, as well as plumbing and general maintenance tasks
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on structures and other equipment, such as dispensers, point-of-sale devices, and security systems
  • Order and manage parts inventory for service trucks
  • Schedule and prioritize duties and work assignments daily
  • Perform minor repairs and replacements of equipment components, such as hoses, nozzles, fuel filters, decals, and water filters
  • Complete required reports and paperwork daily to account for time and materials used

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in HVAC/R technology or a related field preferred
  • At least one year of relevant work experience in HVAC/R installation, maintenance, or repair; management experience a plus
  • EPA 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal) mandatory
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and under minimal supervision

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
