As a Loan Officer Associate, you will assist Loan Officers in developing skills and knowledge to become a Loan Officer in the future. You will complete various online and classroom educational sessions while receiving operational and hands-on training by assisting the Loan Officer and Division Managers.

  • Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in formal training programs provided by the company, covering various aspects of lending, including understanding different types of loans, assessing creditworthiness, and navigating the loan approval process.
  • Train with managers on mortgage rate sheets to learn to accurately price and lock loans.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports to learn the overall mortgage process from application to closing.
  • Support and coordinate with Loan Officers and Division Managers to ensure seamless loan processing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with builders and realtors to drive business growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring borrowers can easily reach out through various channels and receive prompt responses.
  • Collaborate with internal associates to ensure efficient loan processing and customer satisfaction.
Your Toolbox:
  • Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BA or BS preferred.
  • Mortgage or banking experience (preferred).
  • Experience in articulating product or service features, benefits, and value.
  • A genuine passion for going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
