**Program Overview:** NADAP's CareerCompass is an innovative initiative by HRA to enhance employment and training outcomes in NYC. This program provides comprehensive support to adults aged 25 and above, connecting them with education, training, and employment opportunities.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bilingual Spanish Orientation Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our CareerCompass program, you will provide interactive and motivational orientations to clients, facilitating their transition to employment and career advancement.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver daily motivational orientations for newly referred clients, offering in-person and remote services.
  • Conduct orientation and workshops utilizing prepared curricula, integrating vocational concepts and professionalism in a classroom setting.
  • Support the administration and scoring of assessments, including the TABE Test, BEST Test, and Best Literacy.
  • Maintain contact with Career Service Coordinators to ensure seamless transitions to one-on-one intake processes.
  • Accurately document client information and workflow through computer-based programs.
  • Attend meetings, staff development sessions, and in-service training as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in education, vocational rehabilitation, or social-service related field preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker required.
  • Prior professional experience working within a community-based organization or government sector, directly serving under-resourced populations.
  • Excellent platform skills and ability to motivate and engage clients.
Compensation:

The salary for this position is $41,000 per year.

Schedule:

This is a Monday to Friday, on-site position.
