About the Role

As an Ambulatory Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy in our outpatient setting. Your expertise will help ensure that patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, current health status, and treatment goals to develop individualized care plans.
  • Clinical Expertise: Provide expert nursing care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing procedures as needed.
  • Education and Support: Educate patients and their families about treatment options, side effects, and self-care techniques to promote empowerment and optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and share knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Licensure: Current RN license in Washington state or compact licensure required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Salary Range:

$83,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
