Digital Technology Leader

GE Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Digital Technology Leader to manage information technology for our Manufacturing site at Rutland, VT. As the Site IT leader, you will be responsible for the performance and availability of IT infrastructure and applications, as well as partnering with the business to enable process transformation and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement IT strategy and roadmap to drive digital improvements across the site.
- Represent information technology as part of the Shop leadership team.
- Partner with the business to participate in lean/process improvement initiatives and enable business transformation leveraging digital tools.
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, and modification of various software solutions, including ERP, MES, and Analytics solutions.
- Work with central digital product teams to resolve systemic recurring issues or enhancement needs.
- Work on machine instrumentation initiatives to enable enhanced business operations.
- Proactively monitor network performance (WAN/LAN/WLAN) and escalate issues.
- Manage and coordinate all Digital Workspace technology.
- Support all printers, MFPs, on-site A/V, and telecommunications equipment.
- Manage and coordinate the deployment and support of shop floor PCs.
- Provide on-site support for networking infrastructure.
- Coordinate IT infrastructure work with applicable teams.
- Provide immediate response to cybersecurity threats.
- Escalate IT issues affecting site production and provide on-call support as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience, or Associates degree with a minimum of 9 years of professional experience, or High School Diploma with a minimum of 11 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Manufacturing IT Leadership.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- Experience working IT in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in 24x7x365 technical operations.
- Experienced in design, performance, availability, and scalability of the infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage infrastructure and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Demonstrated ability to integrate with manufacturing technologies.
- Demonstrated understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles (e.g., Green belt certified).
- Demonstrated ability to manage team/product operations within own budget.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects based on business strategies and customer requirements.
- Demonstrated customer focus – manages technical issues in complex, difficult, or stressful situations; evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint.
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating efforts.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
