Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our team as a Long Term Care Specialist at Massachusetts General Brigham - Spaulding Nursing & Therapy Ctr-Brighton. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a salary of $64,991 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and pay rate of $1264.80 per week. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting with daily living activities
  • Assist with medication management, including administering medications and monitoring resident response
  • Support residents with mobility issues, such as transferring, walking, and using assistive devices
  • Contribute to a safe and clean environment by following infection control procedures and reporting any concerns or incidents to the supervisor
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in long term care or a related field
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment as needed
