Responsibilities:- Assess and care for patients with a wide range of physical and psychological diagnoses and treatment modalities.
- Insert and maintain peripheral lines, and administer medications and blood products as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide emergency care and respond to critical situations as needed.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records according to facility policies.
- Minimum of 3 years current experience in an acute care, medical/surgical unit in an urban, academic medical center setting.
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency.
- Unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States).
- Competitive hourly rate of $57.50.
- Vacation time.
