About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Kansas Behavior Supports. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with individuals to help them build new skills and overcome challenges.

In this role, you will use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to develop important skills such as socializing, communication, or self-care. You will be working in the field, making a real difference day in and day out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Client Support: Work directly with clients in their homes, schools, or the community using ABA techniques to help them develop important skills.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Collect data on how well clients are doing with their behavior plans and provide feedback to your supervisor to make adjustments.
  • Skill Development: Use ABA strategies to help clients gain new abilities that will benefit them long-term.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other team members to ensure consistent and effective therapy.
  • Crisis Intervention: Stay calm under pressure and use your training to de-escalate situations when needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma is required. A degree in Psychology, Education, or Social Work is a plus but not necessary.
  • Certification: 40 Hour RBT Certification is free and we will provide training if needed.
  • Skills: Action-Oriented, Communication, Problem-Solving, and Physical Fitness.
