**Job Overview:**

Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Instrument Technician to join our Sterile Processing team. As a Medical Instrument Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care by preparing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to manufacturer instructions and hospital policies
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on industry best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in sterile processing or a related field
  • Certifications: CRCST, CSPDT, or other relevant certifications
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Estimated Salary:**

$70,000-$90,000 per year.
