Job Description

Vuori, Inc. is a dynamic athletic apparel company that embodies the spirit of an active coastal California lifestyle. We're seeking a skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team and help us inspire others to take on their lives with clarity, enthusiasm, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forge lasting relationships with customers by communicating Vuori's brand values through insightful product knowledge and a happy, optimistic outlook.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure each customer receives exceptional service.
  • Greet customers in a timely, authentic, and engaging manner, preparing the fitting rooms and providing honest, knowledgeable feedback on merchandise style and fit.
Business Objectives
  • Achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on new product knowledge in the broader fashion landscape and active-wear specifically to serve as an expert for customers.
  • Assist in the completion of projects while maintaining a focus on customer experience.
  • Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Operations
  • Ensure the sales floor is stocked every evening.
  • Collaborate with management on inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized retail store, including floors and bathroom.
  • Understand and execute cash control procedures, including bank deposits and petty cash.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining merchandising/visual directives.
  • Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized, and reflects the correct visual image at all times.
  • Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must adhere to scheduled shifts with punctuality.
  • Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback.
